Yes, when performed by our clinicians it's safe. We assess each lesion to ensure extraction is appropriate; infected or painful lesions may require drainage and specific aftercare to promote healing and prevent spread.
Properly performed extractions by trained professionals minimize scarring and inflammation. Immediate release of contents can prevent deeper infection, and we provide aftercare guidance to support healing and reduce risks.
Our Emergency Extraction service includes extraction of one to three lesions per 15-minute appointment. This focused approach treats urgent spots quickly; larger needs may require a full facial or follow-up.
Expect a brief consultation, cleansing, and targeted extraction using sterile tools. The procedure is quick with minimal discomfort. Aftercare includes topical antiseptic, possible bandaging, and instructions to avoid picking.
No major preparation is required. Avoid heavy makeup on the area and skip retinoids or exfoliants the day of. Inform us of medications, allergies, or recent isotretinoin use, which can affect suitability.
