Get answers to common questions about Eyelash & Eyebrow Tinting.

Yes—when performed by our trained therapists, tinting is generally safe for sensitive skin. We require a patch test for first-time or sensitive clients, use hypoallergenic dyes and adjust formulas. If irritation occurs, we remove dye immediately and provide aftercare guidance.

Tint longevity varies: lashes typically retain pigment four to six weeks, while brows can last three to six weeks depending on hair growth and skin type. To maintain depth, schedule touch-ups every four to six weeks or as recommended by your therapist.

Minor skin staining can occur but is usually temporary and fades with cleansing over several days. Our therapists carefully protect and remove excess dye during the treatment, and a patch test helps identify stubborn staining risks before a full service.

Eyelash extensions cannot be tinted since synthetic fibres won't absorb dye; we recommend tinting natural lashes before extensions or removing extensions first. Coordinate other intensive facial treatments four to seven days apart to avoid irritation and ensure optimal results.

A patch test is required for first-time clients or those with allergy histories. We apply a small amount of dye to a discreet area and observe for 24–48 hours for any reaction. This simple step prevents adverse reactions during the full treatment.

Avoid water, steam, saunas and vigorous eye rubbing for 24 hours. Use oil-free cleansers and avoid oil-based brow products to prolong pigment. Gently brush brows daily and schedule touch-ups as recommended to maintain shade and shape.
