Get answers to common questions about Eyelash Tinting.
Most clients see results lasting 4-6 weeks, depending on natural lash growth, aftercare, and lifestyle factors like frequent swimming or exfoliation. We recommend scheduling touch-ups every 4-6 weeks to maintain consistent colour and definition.
Yes — when performed by trained technicians using professional, hypoallergenic dyes. We conduct a consultation and patch test if you have sensitivities or allergies. Remove contacts during the treatment and follow aftercare to minimise irritation.
Tinting is commonly paired with lash lifts for enhanced, curled darker lashes. It’s not recommended to tint extensions; some salons avoid tinting extensions due to adhesive and fibre damage. Discuss your desired look so we can advise the best combination.
Arrive with clean, makeup-free lashes; avoid waterproof mascaras, oil-based makeup removers, and lash serums before your appointment. If you have recent eye procedures or infections, inform us so we can determine safety or reschedule.
Avoid water, steam, and heavy eye products for 24-48 hours to allow the dye to set. Gently cleanse lashes, avoid oil-based removers, and skip mechanical exfoliation near the eyes to prolong colour longevity.
When performed correctly with professional products and proper aftercare, tinting should not damage lashes. Overuse or poor application could cause dryness; we recommend spacing treatments and using nourishing serums and gentle cleansers to maintain lash health.
