Get answers to common questions about Sugaring Underarms.
Most clients enjoy smooth underarms for three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth, hormones and lifestyle. With regular sessions hair often thins and regrowth slows; we’ll recommend a personalised schedule during your consultation.
Yes. Sugaring removes hair in its natural growth direction and extracts from the root, which significantly reduces ingrown hairs over time. Combined with gentle exfoliation and proper aftercare, you'll see fewer bumps and clearer skin.
Pain sensitivity varies, but many find sugaring less painful than waxing because the paste adheres mainly to hair and not live skin. Our technicians use gentle techniques and tips to maximise comfort for sensitive underarms.
Allow hair to reach about 3–6 mm (roughly two weeks of growth), cleanse the area and avoid applying deodorant, oils or creams beforehand. Inform us about medications or skin conditions so we can tailor the treatment safely.
Avoid heavy exercise, hot showers, saunas and deodorant for 24 hours to reduce irritation. Gently exfoliate after 48–72 hours and use fragrance-free soothing products. Contact us if redness or irritation persists.
Clients with active sunburn, open wounds, recent chemical peels, certain skin infections, or those on isotretinoin should consult a clinician first. Pregnant clients and those with severe allergies should disclose medical history for safe assessment.
