Get answers to common questions about Waxing Lip or Chin.
Results often last two to six weeks depending on your hair growth cycle, skin type and aftercare. Regular sessions can lead to finer, sparser regrowth. We'll advise a schedule tailored to your needs.
Mild redness or sensitivity is common for a few hours. Our gentle wax and calming aftercare reduce discomfort. If you have sensitive skin or a history of reactions, tell your therapist for a patch test or alternative options.
Avoid exfoliating and strong acids or retinoids for 48–72 hours beforehand. Let hair grow to about 1/4 inch so the wax can grip. Arrive with clean skin and no heavy makeup.
We assess your skin before treatment; small acne lesions can be problematic. If active cystic acne or open sores are present, we may postpone or recommend alternative hair removal to avoid spreading bacteria and aggravating inflammation.
Typically every three to six weeks depending on personal hair growth and desired smoothness. After several consistent sessions, growth often becomes finer, allowing longer intervals—your therapist will recommend a personalized timetable.
Regular waxing can weaken hair follicles, causing finer and sparser regrowth for many clients. Results vary by genetics and hormones; consistency yields the best chance of reduced thickness. We'll track progress and adjust treatment plans.
