Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Waxing Nostril.

Most clients experience a short, sharp discomfort when the wax is removed; the sensation is brief and tolerable. We use gentle techniques, optional numbing on request, and monitor reactions to minimize irritation for sensitive individuals.

Most clients enjoy smooth nostrils for three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles and hormones. Regular treatments can extend intervals between appointments and may reduce overall hair density over time.

We assess skin condition during consultation; waxing is not recommended for active infections, severe inflammation, or recent nasal surgery. For sensitive clients we perform patch tests, use hypoallergenic waxes, or recommend alternatives like trimming.

Avoid nasal sprays, heavy creams, or blood-thinning medications if possible and inform your therapist of medications or allergies. Keep the area clean, avoid recent plucking, and arrive rested to reduce sensitivity during treatment.

Mild redness, tenderness, or small bumps can appear but usually resolve within 24–48 hours. Avoid picking, hot showers, and vigorous exercise for a day. Contact the clinic promptly if you notice prolonged swelling, bleeding, or signs of infection.

Gently cleanse with a mild, fragrance-free soap and avoid rubbing. Apply a recommended soothing antiseptic or aloe product if needed. Avoid swimming, saunas, and strong nasal sprays for 24–48 hours, and follow all clinic aftercare instructions.
